FRC First Aid Course EA 2® is an advanced first aid course that allows you to enhance your existing knowledge and skills. The course gives you excellent skills to act in demanding first aid situations and accidents.

FRC First Aid Course EA 2® is a practical advanced first aid course, which features a great variety of exercises and reflective tasks.
Note: Your FRC First Aid Course EA 1®certificate must be valid if you wish to take part in FRC First Aid Course EA 2®.
The course begins with a review of the knowledge and skills you have learnt previously, followed by an extensive discussion of first aid topics related to operating in demanding conditions.
The course is right for you if you want to learn first aid skills that you can use in demanding conditions or if you work in an industry with a specific accident risk and want to enhance your own first aid skills.
FRC First Aid Course EA 2® is a registered trademark. Upon completion of the first aid course, you will receive a first aid certificate from the Finnish Red Cross, which is valid for three years.

FRC First Aid Course EA 2® is especially suitable for you if
- you have a FRC First Aid Course EA 1® certificate and want to deepen the first aid skills you have learnt previously
- you want to enhance your first aid skills when working in environments with a specific accident risk such as excavations, construction, seafaring or hot work
- you want to broaden your first aid skills for the purposes of recreational activities, such as horse riding, diving, wilderness guidance or downhill skiing, which involve a specific accident risk.

- Emergency First Aid recap
- Resuscitating a child, baby or a victim of drowning
- First assessment
- Incident information
- Mechanism of injury
- Consciousness, respiration and circulation assessment
- Moving the person in need and emergency transit
- First aid positions and monitoring
- Broken bones and fractures (incl. spinal injuries & head injuries)
- Injuries caused by cold temperatures (frostbite) and hypothermia
- Heat related illnesses
- Mental Health first aid (MHFA)
- Other topics according to group preferences
